Clearwater Shuffleboard Club Joins Forces with Grouper!

Get paid for having fun!

The Clearwater Shuffleboard Club has partnered with Grouper, an organization that shares our commitment to community and mentorship. Grouper provides benefits to Clearwater Shuffleboard members aged 65 and older for staying active in their communities. Staying socially active in group activities, like participating in research projects or attending events, has proven health benefits, according to the U.S. Surgeon General. It is especially important for older adults, who have above-average risks of social isolation.

Here’s what Grouper offers:

  • Easy sign-up with two simple questions and no personal information needed

  • Receive $50 upfront just for having an eligible plan

  • Receive $20 every 3 months for reporting your in-person activities (shuffling or otherwise)

  • Access to a monthly newsletter featuring members, group leaders and the impact they are having on their communities
